Arno Landry
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences at UQAM, I enthusiastically join PaqLab to further develop my interest in plant ecology. After several years of building a relevant understanding of forest ecology in the natural cradle of the Appalachians, I am determined to apply this knowledge in the urban setting of my new life context. My Double-DEC training in Environmental and Planetary Issues, combining social sciences and natural sciences, has helped me consider intersectionality within urbanization challenges. Additionally, I am highly interested in how ecosystems adapt to climate change. Therefore, I am pleased to join Davia Yahia in participating in her project whose goal is to evaluate how wood anatomical plasticity enables urban trees to respond and acclimate to changing stresses and environmental conditions.
